Our Story
Meet Our Founder
Ella Moncur, FNP-BC, CWS, CFCN
Founder & Executive Director
A Passion for Community Health
With over 20 years of nursing experience, Ella has witnessed firsthand the health disparities affecting under-resourced communities. These experiences ignited a passion within her to create meaningful and lasting change.
In 2024, she founded Your Next Door Neighbor with a simple yet powerful mission: to bring quality healthcare education and preventative services directly to the individuals and families who need them most.
Ella also serves as the Lead Clinician for the Traveling Soles program, where she provides advanced wound and medical foot care. A community-centered program that helps bridge critical gaps in health access for underserved populations.
Her holistic approach addresses not only physical health, but also the mental, emotional, and social factors that influence overall wellness. Today, she continues to lead with compassion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to advancing health equity.
